Hanga exhibition at 69 Smith St Gallery, Fitzroy, Melbourne

My blog might have been a bit quiet recently...that's because I’ve been busy creating new etchings which I'll be showing at an upcoming exhibition called Hanga which will take place at the 69 Smith St gallery in Fitzroy, Melbourne from 11^th to 29^th April. I will be showing all of my new prints at this exhibition. You can see one of them entitled 'Sleepwalker' on the invite below.

It would be great to see you at the exhibition opening from 4- 6pm on Saturday 11^th April ! If you can’t make that day then the gallery is open 11 - 5pm Wed - Sat and 12 - 5pm Sun.

I will probably be at the gallery most Sundays during the exhibition if you want to catch up.

My first showing in the UK !

I'm excited to have two of my Print works selected for the 8th British International Mini Print Exhibition

My etchings Lets Drink More Wine and Little Red Riding Hood P2 were selected for this exhibition which opens in London in April 2012, and then travels to various galleries around the UK for the next two years.

If you are in London, then you are welcome to visit the exhibition which runs from 6th April to 16th June
at the London Print Studio, 425 Harrow Road, London. Opening Hours Tues to Sat   10:30am - 6pm.
Maybe you could make the opening on 12 April 2012, 6.30 - 8.30 pm !

My Etsy Shop

I've created a shop on Etsy where you can buy my work. I intend to make most of my etchings available for sale on Etsy, and so far I've loaded my "Let's Drink More Wine" etching into the shop. There's free shipping anywhere in the world, and you should be able to press on the link on the side to take you to Etsy.

Summer Exhibitions in Melbourne

I am featured in two end of year group shows in Melbourne at the moment.

My print "Lets Drink More Wine" can be seen in the Recipe show at 69 Smith Street Gallery, Collingwood until18th December.

 My prints "Batmania" and "Just hanging out in Melbourne" can be seen in the Summer Salon show at Fire Station Print Studio , Armadale until14th January 2012.

I was very pleased that my Batmania etching was awarded third prize in the Firestation show !

Thank you for your support during 2011. I'm busy planning a few more exhibitions in Melbourne for 2012, and I'm really excited to have been selected for an International exhibition too in 2012...more details coming soon

Printmaking 11B exhibition

I am excited to be part of the Printmaking 11B group show at Brunswick Street Gallery in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The opening night will be from 6pm - 10pm on Friday 23rd September.My work will be displayed on the top floor of the gallery so there will be a couple of flights of stairs to climb from the gallery entrance which is sandwiched between two kebab shops. Please see the invite below. The image  is part of my etching "Kissing or Eating" which will be on display together with about 15 of my other etchings at this show.

It would be great to see you on the opening night - otherwise the gallery is open from 10am to 10pm every day except Monday so pop in if you're in the area.

Journal Cafe Exhibition

I'm having an exhibition of prints at Journal Cafe at 253 Flinders Lane, Melbourne from 19th July to 31st July. The work will be shown in the window facing the Melbourne City Library, and it's viewable from 8am to 8pm weekdays and around 8am until 6pm weekends. This is one of my new prints that will be on display
